Drs. Eric and Cory Plasker of Plasker Family & Performance Chiropractic, located in East Cobb Marietta, Georgia are members and regular attendees at the Rotary Club of East Cobb. We meet Wednesday mornings at 7:00am at the Indian Hills Club House. Rotary is an international service based organization with over 1.2 million members worldwide. Rotary’s mission is to “provide service to others, promote integrity, and advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through our fellowship of business, professional, and community leaders.”

Due to our service centered nature and service being the foundation of our practice, joining our local Rotary club in East Cobb was an easy decision to make. Many of our patients, whom most are business owners and influential people within the East Cobb community, are very involved in the club-including current and past presidents, as well as high ranking board members. As a collective, we are working hard together to make a positive impact by doing service projects, fundraising, and volunteering at local charities to help the less fortunate and make this world a better place.

The highly influential people in our community need to be healthy in order to continue making a difference. They understand that in order to keep volunteering, which is rewarding and strenuous work, they need to prioritize the health and integrity of their spine and nervous system. They understand and are benefitting from lifestyle care, which is the foundation to living a long, active, service oriented life.

There are several links between service and longevity. At Plasker Chiropractic, we’ve been saying for a long time that you not only want to add years to your life, but also life to your years. Service to others does both. Studies indicate that people who care for others live longer. There is not only a link between helping people and receiving beneficial health effects, but also between helping and mortality.
